This unique tea hails from the mountains of central-western Sri Lanka. Grown in the Nilmini Estate, renowned for its organic cultivation techniques and commitment to sustainability, this high grade Ceylon is grown alongside spices such as cinnamon, black pepper, and lemongrass. Growing up in such a diverse environment lends this tea a well-rounded flavor profile that’s strongly influenced by its companions in the fields.
Tasting Notes: Black pepper, malty, licorice, cloves, lemongrass, mild astringency.
Drinking Recommendation: Hot with milk and sugar.
