White teas are very subtle due to their minimal oxidation. In some cases white tea is simply plucked and allowed to dry with almost no processing. A basic white tea has a woodsy or floral aroma to it and is the smoothest and most subtle of the teas. Dried berries, fruit, or flowers are frequently blended with the tea to give it more flavor. Like green tea it has a host of health benefits and there are only trace amounts of caffeine.
